are you afraid of uncle sam

I owed a large amount of money to uncle sam, my yearly tax plus back taxes, I was afraid to call the I.R.S. so I called one of those tax debt help places, they wanted a quarter of what I owed to uncle sam, they told me they could take care of all my debt, I told them I did not have that amount of money to give to them, so they basically blew me off, as they wanted money up front and did not want to work with a payment plan...and as are most people, I was afraid to call the taxman for fear of losing my home and everything else I own, well I got a bit of courage and talked with one of thier agents and told him my story, I was amazed he totally worked with me..considering my circumstances, he was awesome, he said he needed to talk with his superiors and he'd get back to me in 2 weeks, and he did, and to my amazement I did not have to pay a dime, so what i'm trying to say is that sometimes it does not hurt to get a bit of courage and deal with it yourself, rather then call someone else to do it for you, plus you may end up not owing them anything...YAY!!!
